Whoa! A couple of shockers! Rochester is in first! That is a huge shocker to me. Another big surprise is to find Lake Erie in last. I expected alot more out of the Monsters this year. Granted, the season is still young, but you don't want to wait to try and move up in the standings until March. The points are always easier to get in the start of the season. You can't win the division early in the season, but you sure can lose it. We really need to step up our game. Hopefully this weekend trio with Peoria and Abbotsford will be a success and jumpstart our team. Abbotsford is a division rival. A key to winning the division: Beat the teams that are in your division. The season is still young, but the Monsters could easily slip out of the race this season if they aren't careful. Personally, I still believe Lake Erie has a shot at making the playoffs this season. We just need to step up our game. Go Monsters!

dude if you hate the Monsters so much why do you post on here and why do you go to games? do us all a favor and go post on the cleveland browns board where they have some real issues.
I don't know who you're talking too, but obviously you couldn't pick out the joke. Ok, obviously if I paid for my partial season tickets, I like the Monsters. I am probably one of the most loyal fans to the Monsters, or any team in Cleveland for that matter, so back off. I'm sure that #7 said it as a joke. I made fun like that of the Indians last year and yet I still went to their games. It was a joke, ok?

Ok, #7 if you're just going to be negative about the Monsters, delete your account with this site or something. Most guys on here love the Monsters. I agreed with your statement as a joke, I didn't actually mean it literally. I, honestly, am one of the most loyal fans to Cleveland and the Monsters. Nobody on here wants to hear anybody rip the Monsters.

I'm a hockey fan first above any team. I've gone to see LEM play A LOT over their short existence (notice I registered here in 2007). To me, being a Monsters fan is like being a cubs fan. If you can't rib the home team that's not had a winning season, then I don't know what to tell you.

I gotta say that I kind of agree with this. Listen, I'm a hockey fan above all else too. And yes, I am a long suffering Cleveland sports fan, and thats just kinda what we do here. I don't tend to say too much negative stuff on here, but I have heard from several people in the front office that they read this stuff on a regular basis, and if being a little negative sometimes helps something get done, then I'm for it. I'm pretty sure it was all just a joke, and whats the fun if you can't do that from time to time. You guys can't tell me you haven't made some kid of comment about how bad a Cleveland team is at some point. Its like a right of passage here.

Thanks buddy! I was definitely joking. It's far too early in the season to chastise this team for this year. They're still working out lines and chemistry. I don't think they'll get to the playoffs this year unless something major happens, but I'll still make the trip up 77 to catch them when I have time. I'll even root for them when they're not playing the Griffins or Moose!
