The Boston Bruins placed Johnny Boychuk on waivers. I'm pretty shocked by this. I spoke to Dave Oliver at the STH meeting and he mentioned that the trade with the Bruins was to give Johnny a chance to play in the NHL, since there was no room for him here. I wonder why the Bruins gave up so quickly, and I also wonder if there's any chance Colorado could pick him up again? I would love to see Johnny at the Q again, even if he isn't with the Monsters.

That is kinda surprising. He was often a bright spot in many games last year. i enjoyed watching him.

is boston's system defense heavy? someone could surely use him. I doubt the kings or the lightning would be a bad place for him.

he might clear waivers and play down with providence or maybe not but with his talent he could and should be picked up by someone.
