Wednesday's Quick Facts: The Bulldogs hold a 2-0 advantage over Lake Erie in the season series. Both losses came in Cleveland (10/13 and 1/06). Tyler Weiman was the goaltender of record in both contests. Vladimir Denisov scored his first professional goal in the most recent game against the Bulldogs.
Lake Erie comes into tonight's game after two straight overtime games with Syracuse, a win in New York on Saturday and a loss at home last night. Hamilton enters the game on a two-game win streak, most recently winning in Houston on Sunday.
The Monsters almost look like a completely different team than the one that faced Hamilton just 17 days ago. Lake Erie has four brand new players on the team: Jeff Friesen, Philippe Dupuis, Darcy Campbell and Chris Murray. Friesen and Murray were both signed by the Monsters, while Dupuis and Murray were acquired in a trade from Syracuse (via Colorado and Columbus) in exchange for Mark Rycroft.
