What a difference. Good to see us come back and get into the game Saturday night. Good action. Good contact. Cheers to Durno, Stoa and a big one for Haydar on his first goal. PP still has a long way to go, but, at least the boys weren't afraid to get out there and drop the gloves. Felt good to be a Monster fan. What's up with Willsie? Where was his emotions?

Manitoba's goalie is an AHL backup. They threw him in to see what he could do. The answer -- not much.

Besides that goalie letting in some softies, it was a pretty even game. Weiman made the monsters look a lot better than they are. Haydar's shorthanded goal was beautiful.

So Machesney's first job was working maintenance at a golf course. He ought to go back.

Horrible performance Saturday night.

Not sure what game you watched on Saturday but the one I watched, the Monsters dominated every aspect of that game and none of their goals were weak. By far the best game they have played in their existance!!!

It's all true. Both Stewart and Chelios are listed in the transactions like on the AHL site.

I loved being at this game. It truly was great. We played like an actual hockey team! We were physical, and basically dominated the game. I could get used to this kind of offense, we need to keep that up. If we can, we could go a long way!

So that most likely means someone is getting called up, right? Who's it going to be?

chelios signing with the wolves, his career is done, he's getting too old but maybe his services will be valuable to the kids on the wolves, much like keane is to manitoba.
i can't wait until we play chicago, i'm gonna rip chelios a new one (even though i like him as a player).

Cheli would be an excellent player/coach if it were still the 70s. Didn't he play professionally in the 70s? Wink
