yeh he was just sent down today . the avs website kinda sketchy on details but seems like sacco not happy with his play . guess hes not playin both ends of the ice and has been lazy last few games he's played . avs fans for the most part not happy with the move . was on the message board - most are disappointed he was sent down and want stoa called up .
this is a kick in the a** for stewart to motivate him, if his play was lacking for sacco, he demoted him to get him back on track. stoa will get his shot soon.

I think Hensick is a waivers risk to move between leagues. I think Stewart is still under the gap on games played, so they can reassign him without fear of him being picked up.
Well, down here he might get added to the first line, so he'll get more play time and get conditioned. I doubt he'll stay long. First injury and he'll go right back.

you are correct. hensick is waiver eligible and would likely be claimed. hensick doesn't really have a spot on COL's team right now and needs top six minutes to be successful. being shipped to another organization would help jump start that but i don't know that it will happen this year. i think that if hensick had been sent down early and lit it up for us all year, it would have better long term for his hockey career. a case of someone being rushed too fast? maybe...
he may be gone by the deadline but that's a ways off and is just my $.02...
stewie needs to get over being a healthy scratch. he's been one since 10/10. he will get it back on track but i don't know if he'll be the first on recall. COL only has six defenseman on the roster right now...

I'm glad to see Stewart back! He put up good numbers with Lake Erie and as far as I know, decent numbers in Colorado. Hopefully adding him to or lineup will just make us that more powerful!

I don't know what Sacco is doing in Denver, but I'd like to know why he wasn't doing it here in Lake Erie. If Chris had a bad work ethic for the Avs, I'm hoping this will be a boot for him to get him back in gear.
yeh stewart is back up with avs . i short lived 2 game stint here . when sacco was here he was running the system of the avs previous coach . now he's the man and he gets to run his system .
