I'll say the Monsters win it 4-2 over Rockford on Saturday. They'll fall behind early 1-0 or 2-0, but one of the new guys - say, Cavosie or McNicholl - will get a big goal to spark them. Haydar will get the game-winner.

(OK, now you know exactly what WON'T happen. I'm terrible at these kinds of things!)

We sent Sauer to Charlotte for this? Cann gives up 4 Goals and our PK gives up 2 goals.

I'm sure Cann felt a little nervous going into his first game. PK was not good at all.

yeh for sure- your right the pk is horrible as well as the pp ! it's so frustrating to me . overpassing the puck too much instead of shooting it and trying to get rebounds . create some chaos in front of goal . speaking of - i wonder if the monsters will protect in front of their goal better this year . too many easy goals in front of the net against us last year in which many of them were game winning goals late in the 3rd - with nobody in front of the net to defend . especially on the pk , they leave too many guys all alone in front of the net with nobody on them.

in front of a bustling 2,213, our LEM lost 5-2 to crapchester...oh well! get 'em next time boys.

sauer was the only one who could be sent down since he is the only goalie on an AHL contract. they have a weekly salary cap and cann makes too much, even on his entry level deal.

tonight, i predict 12,000 will witness the monsters beat a tough icehog team 4-3. sertich will get the game winner...

my prediction and $3 (at starbucks) will get you a cup of coffee...

Another 2 goals given up by the PK. And 16 SHOTS!? Not a very good game at all.

i got a prediction, according to the hockey news (oct. 12,09 vol. 63 no. 06 - minor pro report) and this is their prediction so don't blame me but they are saying that they are going to finish dead last in the conference, now that doesn't sound promising but after what i just saw...
