the guy was just asking about how the penalty minutes broke down. and yes a monster got crushed with his head down on a clean open ice hit and Wilson regardless of no call defended his teammate and team admirably no doubt.
this is what the leagues are trying to get rid of, the CLEAN hits that prompt other players to go after the other guy who initiated the hit, was it a good fight, yes i enjoyed it thouroughly but was it warranted probably not. first rule, KEEP YOU'RE HEAD UP!!!, don't get caught looking down at the puck because that is just an invitation. that is probably why he got the 10 min. misconduct for starting a fight after a clean hit.

Agreed. Even Burki said he should have kept his head up. Technically, though, the 2/5/10 instigating package is supposed to be doled out regardless of whether a hit is "clean" or not. If you clearly start the fight, then you're supposed to get the instigator. But being human, I wonder if the refs might look the other way when a guy starts a fight in retaliation for a dirty hit.
