First off let me say that was the best game I went to so far this season. It was a great comeback against good team. I did have a problem though with the way McCutcheon(who I feel should be playing in a lower league) handled a scrum with the opposing player. After the whistle was blown, Mccutcheon cross checked this guy in the back. When the guy came after him, Mccutcheon ducked out of the way as a group of players formed around them. If your going to cross check a guy after the whistle you have to expect something and to run away like that shows that Mccutcheon needs to grow a pair and deal with his actions. He always looks for the open ice hit or to smash a guy in the boards and thats fine but if you play like that then you have to fight when challenged.

he didnt run away from that fight, i saw that materialize from the beginning, mcutcheon didnt like the way he was being handled, so he gave a light cross check just to let the guy know and the bears' player tried to sucker punch him and that's why the bear's player got the penalty, now maybe the ref missed the crosscheck (which is prolly happened cuz they missed some calls in the game) but he didnt miss the attempted roughing call on the bears player.

Are you kidding me? I was there too and Mccutcheon blatenly cross checked a guy. If you hit a guy after the whistle he should and did retaliate. I would have went after him too.

let me ask you a question who are you rooting for? so what if McCutcheon cross checked the guy, he played it smart and didn't retaliate and drew the penalty on the bears player, which i think resulted in a monsters goal. so who cares if he didnt want to fight. the monsters won plain and simple.

David Ling has made a career out of doing that and does it 10-15 times per game. He is lauded for it and rewarded by the ref's. Most teams have a guy like this. What's yer problem with a Monster doing it?
