Talked with him last night, and I believe its posted in an article somewhere...He got hurt at training camp, and his collarbone is messed up. He should be back on the ice in 2-3 weeks. Big loss though early in the season.
Well 2-3 weeks isn't bad, even if it's 5 weeks. By that point someone in Colorado will be injured and then we'll need someone to fill a spot anyway, so I hope he gets well soon.
Collarbone? That has to suck. Did someone karate chop him Captain Kirk style?

I saw DuPuis along with Corbin, O'neill, and someone else I couldnt really tell who it was. There were all sitting in the stands. Are they all injured?? anyone know??
Dupuis is on the AVS injury report. DUH, little looking and I would have found it

We have 4 scoring lines now... I really like the way our roster shapes up now. As long as our Defense & Goales can keep the opponent at 3 or less, we will be in the Playoffs by February.

we have alot of depth on this team and this team looks really good. we started the season off great and now we have to take that start and build off of it, our division is very strong and since only 3 playoffs spots are guaranteed we need to play our collective a**es off and i think we can with this team. according to sacco we have the best tandem of goalies in the league, well we have very good goalies, i wouldnt say the best but very solid. we need to keep the opposition to at least 2-3 goals a game to keep the game close and easy to catch up, which also comes to defense stepping up and picking up the garbage in front of the net and blocking shots and helping out our goalies. this got kinda long, so i'm going to stop. we have the team this year and should have no excuses why we can't make the playoffs barring any major injuries to the av's.

It's really early. Consistency is the thing in the AHL. Most guys are in the AHL because they aren't consistent. They have to push every night. So far so good though. What was the team's win record at home last year? Wasn't it like 5 games?

I wondered that last season. They are from the same town as well...could be? Of course Pascal's rookie season was spent in Cleveland, so it would be a pretty cool coincidence.
doesnt anyone else think thats weird? they have the same last name and yet no relation to each other. i've often wondered that if people share the same last name they have to be related somewhere down the road. i don't know, people always ask me that since i share my last name with alot of people (its i guess a really common italian name). oh well thats just my two cents, will be nice to see hime back in the lineup hopefully for friday's game.
