Didn't see the game but heard all about the hit...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIXcGOr4-04

Note: I love both the player who delivered it (Mike Richards) and the guy on the other end (David Booth). Once again, former Barons trainer Dave Zenobi finds his way to YouTube...

Question:
Should this hit lead to a suspension?

Choices:
Yes.
No.
Legal but player should have let up because Booth was in a vulnerable position.
Skate with your head up. Don't admire your pass!

It kind of reminded me of that Scott Stevens hit on Kariya in the playoffs awhile back. Booth had no idea that was coming. I say yes on the suspension.

No suspension, really? Richards clearly went straight for his head. At least the injury wasn't that bad. I knew he would have a concussion for sure.

no suspension, hit looked like it was dirty but did anyone see that booth looked back at the play and when he turned his head back there was richards, now if he didnt turn his head back to the play and kept it forward he would've seen richards and could've gotten out of the way or at the least lessened the blow, it's pretty much like keeping you're head down, you leave yourself exposed, just ask jonathan toews.

you HAVE to keep your head up! It was a brutal hit, but it was within the rules.
